How To Set Up A Linksys Router To Serve - Using Ports 59 and 6060 as examples.
There are 2 ways to make your Linksys router allow access
through ports 59 and/or 6060, Port Forwarding and Port Triggering. You may
choose whichever method you like but I’ve found that Port Forwarding is more
reliable. I have included steps on both methods below...
*Note: This guide was made based on the Linksys Model
BEFSR41 Router. Your settings may be a different. If so, contact linksys
customer support on how to open ports on your router at Linksys Technical
Support (800) 326-7114.
Step 1: You will need to set up your computer with a
static IP.. This link will take you step by step on how to set it up.....

help get you going. Even if you don’t think you need to update based on the
“Whats New?” list, do so anyways because not necessarily all updates are listed.
